bought a travel bag for my iaito since I will be traveling to Japan. It does have extra cushion on the inside but I will be wrapping it up with bubble for extra protection.

Good to have a nice carrying case for Iaito. This is a travel type bag so it is easy to carry it around and not so worried about getting it damaged or getting it dirty. It does have the water/rain resistant fabric on the outside. Mrs. Matsumoto was sweet enough to make name embroid for my carrying case.

Along with my upgrade iaito, I needed another iaito bag to go with it.
Since I don't need the leather one, I just got the nylon style iaito bag.
It is durable and has extra padding inside so that it will protect the iaito. Also it's convenient with shoulder strap, hand held buckle, small pouch to put in extra tsuba or small accessories, and name tage slot on the side.
